Anza Valley Artists officers for 2017 were named at a recent meeting. The Anza Valley Artists group continues to grow in the Valley with more than 17 members.
The AVA President Rosie Grindle will remain in her post for another year since the bylaws require two years of service. The new vice president is Daniel Hare who is in the process of building a new home after moving from Orange County.
Patsy Kile remains as secretary for her third year. “We really appreciate her staying on because she does such a fantastic job,” said Jill Roberts a past president. Roberts will remain on the executive committee as a consultant.
Nancy Swanson will remain as a treasurer for her third year.
The Anza Valley Artists work to inspire and encourage each other to produce meaningful creative artwork, in a variety of media. The local artists put on a special show and auction twice a year in Anza.
The group meets the third Saturday of each month at various locations, attend field trips to further their creative skills.
