Rain causes wrecks in Riverside

Local fire personnel respond to one of the eight collisions reported on Monday, January 2, as a storm front moved through Southwest Riverside County, bringing with it rain, wind and chilly temperatures. Because of the slippery roadways, two of the collisions involved multiple vehicles, said CHP Spokesman Ron Thatcher, who called them “just a mess.”
