Hosted by Russell Kitchen, the special Valentine’s Dance fundraiser held at the Anza Community Hall, Saturday, Feb. 10, was a sweetheart of an adventure for all that attended.
The festive get-together featured a perfectly decorated room, plenty of dancing space, complimentary snacks and a well-stocked bar with beer, sodas and liquor. Local favorite DJ Kool Breeze rolled out the tunes out with masterful skill, selecting the very favorites people wanted to hear.
There was even a selfie photo booth with props, much to the delight of partygoers.
“It was awesome; everyone had a great time,” Kitchen said.
The celebration was sponsored by Heritage Well Service, the Cahuilla Casino and the Soil Kitchen. All proceeds were donated to Kids of Anza, Kitchen’s own charity that helps local boys and girls get what they need to succeed and have fun.
The event was well-attended, and a great time was had by all. Ladies sported their finest attire, and the guys seemed to lean more toward a relaxed casual look, but everybody dressed to impress.
Kitchen said that he could be planning another dance in the near future.
