Bobcats trounce Cubs, 37-13, for Homecoming win

Bobcat fans turned out in full force to cheer their team on to the win at the homecoming game verses California School for the Deaf Friday, Oct. 27, bringing their overall record to 4-5.

In their previous meeting, the Bobcats routed the Cubs, 49-14 and Friday night’s game was more of the same. Hamilton had all the answers against California School for the Deaf-Riverside last week, winning 37-13.

Both teams posted points on the scoreboard in the first quarter, with a score of 7-6 with the Cubs taking the lead.

The Bobcats rallied in the second quarter, stealing the lead at 32-7 and never looking back.

In nonstop action, Hamilton posted 16 unanswered points in the second quarter, another 8 in third and seven more unanswered points in the final quarter of play for a final score of 37-13.

The victory brought Hamilton up to a season record of 4-5. In play, the team is at 2-1 in league play.

Next up, Hamilton will be traveling to San Diego Lutheran High School and will face off against Victory Christian Academy in a nonconference game Friday at 7 p.m.
