Hamilton redeems itself, wins 49-14 against CSDR

After a hard loss Friday, Oct. 14, the Hamilton Bobcats took care of business against California School for the Deaf, Riverside, Oct. 20.

With a great rushing attack led by Randy Lopez (#6), Hamilton ran up the score against their league opponent, and at the end of the third quarter the score was 43-6 Bobcats. The defense, led by Isaac Chacon (#42), was strong the entire game as they forced two turnovers, one returned for a touchdown.

The game ended 49-14, and the Bobcats now have a 3-5 record. Hamilton now gets a well-deserved rest before their Homecoming Game this Friday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. against Upland Christian. This is the last home game of the season so come out and support your team!


Offense: 293 rushing yards, 39 passing yards, for a total of 332 yards.

Randy Lopez (#6) had 201 yards rushing on 19 carries with two touchdowns.

Jacob Graves (#28) had 24 yards rushing on 5 carries, with 24 yards receiving with two catches and a touchdown.

Isaac Chacon (#42) had 45 rushing yards on 5 carries with one touchdown, with 39 yards passing and a touchdown.

Saul Perez (#10) had 20 yards rushing on 1 carry.

Michael Jones (#88) had 18 yards receiving.

Defense: Defense held CSDR to a total of 207 yards, with 67 yards rushing and 140 yards passing.

Michael Rozzo (#56) had a team leading 8 tackles and a tackles for loss.

Tyler Mosely (#5) had 5 tackles, a tackle for loss, and a pass deflection.

Jacob Graves (#28) had 4 tackles and two tackles for loss.

Saul Perez (#10) had two tackles and a pass deflection.

Levi Ross (#73) had one tackle, one tackle for loss, and one pass deflection.

Isaac Chacon (#42) had one tackle, one interception, and one fumble recovery that he returned for a touchdown.

Austin Ellington (#33) had 3 tackles and a tackle for loss.

Michael Jones (#88) had three tackles.

Randy Lopez (#6) had two tackles and a tackle for loss.
